Since 1995, AMW Inc. has established itself as one of the premier venues dealing in 20th-century and contemporary photography in the Southeast. In 2022 AMW Inc. expanded the business to New Canaan Connecticut.


Katharine Marx, Director

Katharine studied 19th- and 20th-century art at Christie's auction house and received a certificate from the Royal Society of Arts, London. After interning and working for several fine art photographers including Sally Mann, Mary Ellen Mark and Nigel Parry, Katharine worked at Vanity Fair in both the photography and editorial departments. In New York, she became the photo editor at Mixed Greens gallery. Since 1995, Katharine has been curating photography shows at AMW Inc. Katharine currently resides in New Canaan, Connecticut, and Birmingham, Alabama.
